Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina Monique came to America as a young girl enchanted by fairy tales and Disney.

Monique graduated from California Institute for the Arts and worked as a toy designer for many years.  While working for Mattel, Monique designed plush toys based on five of Disney's top animated films.

Today, Monique lives out her dreams of painting murals and illustrating books from her art studio in Mission Viejo, California.  She draws inspiration from nature and her family, husband Jeff and two children, Michelle and Nicholas!
